It was my 2nd gig at 18 having seen the Housemartins at couple of weeks earlier in my home town.
My memories fade but I’m sure I saw Lou Reed and Spear of Destiny on the Saturday.
Would this be a correct memory ?

It remained my ‘gold standard’ concert for decades – until November 2023 in Hamburg. U2 were great, however, Greta van Fleet have now become my no1 best live band. So much so I went to see them in Manchester the following week.
